Problem. Slight problem.

Dinosaur Pile-Up are upping the ante with their February 18th show at Scala in London. They’ve just announced an exclusive release at the gig – Peninsula (from last year’s radical Nature Nurture) will be released on *extremely limited* transparent purple vinyl, along with new track ‘Hanging by a Thread’ as a B-Side. This exclusive vinyl will be released on So Recordings, will be numbered (for authenticity) and will be sold on a first come, first serve basis.

So what’s the problem? It’s on a bloody weekday in London!

Now that’s not a problem for Southerners and the like, but for those of us who live UP NORF and work in the week, it’s a bit of a fucker. But Dinosaur Pile-Up are bloody great! I’ve been overdosing on Nature Nurture and Growing Pains these past few weeks, so I think I might have to make the trip – Plus that vinyl sounds reeeeeally tempting. Check out the new single + B-side here!

Along with the vinyl announcement, they’ve also just announced who will be joining them at the Scala. Coming off the back of supporting Cage The Elephant, Leeds based China Rats will be providing the support.

…and to top it all off, the three piece have just announced a run of dates in the good ol’ US of A to coincide with the American release of Nature Nurture on the 25th of February. They will be joining Sacramento’s own Middle Class Rut on the road this spring.

Tickets for the Scala show are more than likely selling like hot bakery products, so in order to ensure you’re down the front, get yourself one here!
