In the same week they release their bone-crushing debut album ‘Vultures’, Black Country power-duo God Damn have just put out a new video for its title track.

Working with Youth Hymns, the team behind the brilliant ‘Feed The Mantaray’ and ‘The Hunter’ videos for Slaves, God Damn have come away with a brilliant homage to everything grunge in the 90’s. It’s the sort of video you’d stumble across on MTV2 whilst flicking around the channels in the early hours of the morning. Serious ‘Black Hole Sun’ and ‘Heart Shaped Box’ vibes.

The new album is an absolute giant. Speaking with Thom and Ash earlier in the year, Thom summed up Vultures as a “headphone album”, which backfired on me a bit when I first heard it. With no headphones to spare at the time, I intently pressed the phone speaker up against my ear at the vinegar strokes of ‘Skeletons’, only to be almost deafened by ‘The Cut’ that follows after…
But it is huge and a cracking debut full length frm the boys. Full amount of marks and a Birthday Cake For Breakfast stamp of approval for sure!

Check out the rad new video below, and be sure to pick up a copy of Vultures through One Little Indian Records or your local independent!
