Founded in 2011, the Cut Loose Promotions team have been putting on shows throughout Glasgow and building up a loyal following behind their brand. They see themselves providing a platform for aspiring alternative bands, through putting on quality shows and organising tours. As well as shows and events, they also produce ‘CutLoosetv’ – a music channel that works with new, upcoming and established artists, through live sessions and in-studio videos. You might have seen previous work from the channel through their live sessions with the likes of Brontide and Rolo Tomassi.
Their latest live session sees them working with the mighty And So I Watch You From Afar, and was recorded at The Garage in Glasgow on the first day of their recent tour. The super charged ‘Run Home‘ is their song of choice, the first track taken from their brilliant fourth album ‘Heirs’, released earlier this year through Sargent House. A tremendous glimpse into the wonder that is the ASIWYFA live show, the video is wonderfully produced and a brilliant insight into what we can expect from the team in the future.
As well as working with the boys from ASIWYFA, CutLoosetv have also recently recorded a live session with Mylets – the one man pedal master from the Sargent House family, who was main support on the recent ASIWYFA tour.
Kyle Chesney, top geezer and head honcho at Cut Loose Promotions, was noticeably excited when we recently spoke about the future of Cut Loose, noting “This is the benchmark. We are always looking to push the boundaries of what we can do in our live sessions. We have some ideas we are exercising for future releases and of course have a few bands in mind who we’d like to work with. One thing we can assure you though, it will be special”
