Tricot amp up the delightfulness in ‘Pork Ginger’

Wonderful Japanese trio TRICOT

Wonderful Japanese trio TRICOT

Holy hell, how did this slip by undetected?!

In a similar fashion to how I first discovered the incredible math-rock trio from Japan, I’ve just uncovered this gem; a new video from Tricot, released at the tail end of October last year.

The wonderful, genre bending new track comes complete with their typical blend of scrappy outbursts of danceable math-rock, verging on becoming J-pop!

The delightfully titled ‘Pork Ginger‘ is a stand alone track, following the release of their second album ‘And’ earlier in the year. As ever, the song is accompanied by spectacular visuals (check out those gold tracksuits, boy!) as is fitting for the trio.

In truly incredible news, Tricot are returning to the UK this March! Check out the video below and be sure to catch them at a show in Glasgow, Cardiff, London, Leicester, Brighton or Exeter!
