Out with the old, in with the new – And So It Goes

How’s about this for making a first impression? Talk about grabbing you by the fuckin’ throat!

Out of the ashes of Oh Captain! rises And So It Goes – the Brighton trio leaving behind their old name and starting afresh, picking up sharpish where they left off.

Almost a month on from the name change announcement, Birthday Cake For Breakfast is pleased to bring you the debut single from And So It Goes – ‘FLOOD’ – A HUGE serving of pulverising math influenced post-hardcore. Raw and emotional, the new single marks a development in their sound as a band and ultimately, it’s a new beginning.

With good lad Michael Cutayer behind the desk, FLOOD is the first peek at an upcoming EP And So It Goes are currently working on. The visually striking video was produced by Adam Fitch of Incline Creative Media, all within the basement of “a lovely and willing person” who had never met the band before, let alone heard of them!

Commenting on the new moniker and what’s expected from here, drummer Sadie Brown has high hopes. “We are excited about the future of And So It Goes, and are looking forward to touring more, releasing more music, and making new friends along the way.”

Check out the brand new video below and be sure to keep an eye out for further updates from And So It Goes!
