Exclusive: Stream ‘FETCH!’, the debut EP from Ganglions!

Well, that’s it. British summer-time is over for another year. Whilst you attempt to find your biggest coat and consider what you’re going to do with all your shorts now that regular weather is back, Ganglions (pronounced Gang-lee-ons, after the things on your body rather than a pack of big cats) are holding on to that summery-vibe with the release of their tremendous debut EP ‘FETCH!’

The trio, based up the road between Sheffield and Leeds, sing songs of “science, feminism and human feelings“, specialising in uplifting, rapid-fire math-pop, intended to induce shit-eating grins and dancing feet for all who listen!

FETCH! is a proud DIY effort from the trio, with drums tracked by Ben Hunter (Pagan Condo) at Sheffield’s Audacious Art Experiment, affectionately known as a “grotty nerve centre” from all involved. The rest of the EP was put together in a makeshift bedroom studio over the past few months; Ganglions working tirelessly whilst the rest of the country made the most of the ten minutes of sun we were allocated this year.

The EP gets a soft-launch next week at The Audacious Art Experiment on August 10th, with Ganglions supporting Okinawa Picture Show and T-Shirt Weather. They’re also part of a big TAAE Bank Holiday extravaganza at the end of the month, playing at Sheffield’s Picture House Social with the likes of COWTOWN on the 28th!

Whilst you get excited for those dates, Birthday Cake For Breakfast is proud to provide this treat for your ears – An exclusive stream of FETCH!, the delightful debut from Ganglions. Be sure to grab yourself a copy here!
