Scrap your Sunday day-of-rest bollocks and welcome the return of our favourite Brummy noise-making saviours – Cal Banda!

The quartet have just released the brutal ‘Mommy, What’s Wrong With That Man’s Face?’, taken from their forthcoming EP ‘Cheap Shots’. The screamy-shouty barrage of spiky noise that Cal Banda dish out here is available FOR FREE across all digital platforms, the first of six tracks to be released over the coming weeks.

Cal Banda have put out an in-the-studio video to commemorate its birth into the world, which Birthday Cake For Breakfast is delighted to share with you below!

Cheap Shots was recorded in late July 2016 with Lewis Johns (Gnarwolves, Employed To Serve) at The Ranch in Southampton, whilst mastering was handled by good old Brad Boatright of Audiosiege in Portland, Oregon.

We previously featured Cal Banda way back when, delighted with the quartet filling the Blakfish shaped hole in our lives with the release of their debut ‘Another Minute Made Fiasco. Have a look at that here and check out the new video below:

Listen to ‘Mommy, What’s Wrong With That Man’s Face?’ and a host of other 2K17 BNGRZ in our Now Playing playlist!
