A day in the lyfe: Space Blood get weird in new video for ‘Cemetery School’

Regular readers might have noticed a Space Blood shaped hole on these virtual pages as of late, with Birthday Cake For Breakfast previously featuring these lads on the semi-regular (including this brilliant ‘behind-the-music’ esque interview with the pair). This is not for a lack of love, mind. Rather it’s because our favourite American duo have been locked up in an intergalactic studio putting in work on their debut album ‘Tactical Chunder.

The first offspring to be birthed from this unholy full length (oo-er) is ‘Cemetery School’, complete with unnerving moving picture film (which recently had its premiere with Overblown!) For those unfamiliar with Space Blood, this video will pretty much do the trick – I still haven’t the foggiest, but I know I love their oddball blend of tripped out, jazzy math and piss-funny theatrics (I love how fucked that one mask is as well – likely down to being stuffed into cases for extended periods of time!)

Tactical Chunder (how apt for a band who live off the putrid nectar of the slobs, Malort!) is out May 3rd through Lonely Voyage Records. Peep the new video below and grab yourself a pre-order of the new record here (UK/EU) or here (Yanks).
